Choosing a career is an important aspect of everyone’s life. In every human life cycle, there arrives a stage when you have to take a decision that’ll forever change your life. You’ve to choose your own destiny and write your own future. It is that time when you shall decide what you ought to become.

Ever wondered how we spent 12 years of our life in learning stuff, gaining knowledge and in these 12 years, there might be million instances when our inner voice asked us, “What’s next ?” The answer to this question lies within ourselves. In these 12 years only, we’ve to craft a roadmap to our destination or our dreams. We all dream, don’t we? Everybody desires to achieve success through his/her actions. Everyone excels in some field. Everybody is special. Everybody is born with a talent. Everyone has his/her own perceptions regarding the best career opportunities to be considered but according to me, following career opportunities must be kept in mind –

Chartered Accountant is one of the most demanding career options among 10+2 students. Students can enroll for CA right after the exams are over. CA comprises of three stages – Foundation, Intermediate and Final. Clearing all these three stages along with a mandatory 2.5 years of articleship fetches you the title of a certified chartered accountant. Average salary of CA professionals is Rs. 7.9 lakhs per annum in India. Top employers for CA professionals include EY, Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank etc.

Law is considered as one of the most suitable and beneficial career options. It offers various job opportunities in several industries. As a lawyer, there are various challenges as you have to adapt yourself in a dynamic environment. But the returns will be fruitful. One has to work really hard and be patient as patience is the key to achieve success. One has to pursue Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with a duration of 3 years. After completion of LLB, one has to apply for Master of Laws (LLM) with a duration of 2 years. There are various types of laws – Criminal Law, Common Law, Civil Law, Statutory Law.

Data Science is one of the highest paying jobs in India. The main reason for pursuing Data Science as a career is that there has been a 40-50% spike in demand for data scientists since 2019. Even a graduate with no programming knowledge can apply for data science as a career. The average data science salary in India is Rs. 9.5 lakhs per annum.

Machine Learning is the most sought course for computer geeks. Machine Learning is an application or a subpart of Artificial Intelligence (AI). It is also one of the highest paid jobs in India. The responsibilities include performing statistical analysis, designing algorithms and working on new projects. Knowledge in programming languages like Python is mandatory for Machine Learning aspirants. The average salary of machine learning in India is Rs. 6.9 lakhs per annum.

Product Management plays a crucial role in the Indian industry. In the upcoming years, the demand for Product Managers will surely break the fourth wall. The basic qualification required is B.com (Hons)/BBA or any field related to Economics, Marketing, Advertisement, Commerce. The average salary of product management in India is Rs. 14.4 lakhs per annum.
